What we collect

We gather the minimum required to quote and complete a job.

• Through our quote or contact form: your name and phone number, an email address if you provide it, where the project is, what window or door work you have in mind, and any pictures or plans you decide to attach.
• By phone: we jot down your name, number and what you are asking about. Calls themselves are never recorded.
• During a job: the address of the property and the details required for billing.
• Website server logs: the hosting provider automatically records IP addresses, browser type and which pages were visited.

Please keep banking information, government ID numbers and any other sensitive details out of the form. We never request them and have no use for them.

Why we collect it

We use it to quote, book and finish your window or door installation, to prepare permit and engineering paperwork when a job needs it, to bill you, and to keep a record of what went into each home. That record covers opening measurements, site photos, stamped drawings and permit and inspection numbers. We hold on to it because years from now it may be requested by you, the next owner of the house, an insurer, an inspector or an engineer.

Who we share it with

Your information is never sold or passed on for other companies’ marketing. The only people who receive any of it, and only the part they need, are:

• An engineer, when your project calls for stamped drawings
• The municipality or other permit authority, when an application asks for it
• Subcontractors on your job, restricted to the details their part of the work needs
• Our accountant and the payment and bookkeeping services we use for billing
• Any party the law obliges us to disclose it to

Cookies and analytics

No advertising cookies, tracking cookies or third-party ad pixels run on this website.

Should we ever install analytics, this page will be revised first to name the tool and describe the data it gathers.

How long we keep it

When an enquiry does not turn into a project, we delete it within two years. For finished projects, contracts, invoices, engineering documents and installation records are retained as long as warranty, liability, tax or record-keeping needs require. That is usually a number of years, and installation records can be kept much longer.

Your rights

Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act lets you find out what personal information we have about you, receive a copy, have mistakes fixed, and take back your consent for us to use it. Be aware that withdrawing consent can stop us from finishing work we have agreed to do.

Security

Every page on this site loads over HTTPS. Customer and enquiry details are available only to staff whose work requires them. Since no system can be made completely secure, we will notify you without delay if a breach involves your information.
